Common reasons people rent a unit

• Moving and in-between leases, when the old place ends before the new one starts
• Downsizing, when the family furniture is too good to toss but too much for the new house
• Business inventory, samples and shipping supplies for small shops and online sellers
• Contractor tools and materials, with drive-up access so you can back the truck right in
• Seasonal gear like snowblowers, patio furniture, holiday decorations and lake toys
• Files and business records that need a dry, locked spot
• Cars, trucks, RVs, campers, boats and trailers
• Homeowners in HOA neighborhoods that limit trailers and boats in driveways
• Small business owners who need overflow inventory space off-site

Indoor car storage near the Cedar Rapids airport

A lot of Marion customers use a unit for a car. Maybe it is a summer convertible, a classic that only comes out for car shows, or a second car you do not need every day. Our 10x20 holds most cars and SUVs, and the 10x30 with electricity lets you keep a battery maintainer plugged in all winter. Every unit has a drive-up door, so you pull straight in.

Iowa winters are hard on cars parked outside. Salt, ice and hail all take their toll. Keeping a car inside a locked unit protects the paint and saves you from scraping the windshield every morning.
